최근 미국 내쉬빌에서 온라인 합창단이 부른 '내 평생에 가는 길' 페이스북에서 2백만 유튜브에서 60만 뷰를 달성하며 화제를 모으고 있다.

내쉬빌 스튜디오 가수 31명이 신종 코로나 바이러스 감염증(코로나 19)로 사회적 거리 두기 중인 미국인들에게 희망을 주기 위해 데이비드 와이즈가 녹음된 파일을 받아 제작한 것으로 알려졌다.

이 찬송가는 4명의 딸이 1873명 배를 타고 여행하던 중 사망한 후 절망에 휩쌓여 있던 이들의 아버지인 스패포드가 작사해서 더 감동을 주고 있고, 괴질로 인해 어두워진 우리들의 마음을 위로할 수 있는 곡으로 잘 선곡했다는 평이다.
